The inner thoughts.

Finally the day has come. We have finally done our public presentation and our entrepreneurship assignment for MGT338 has come to an end. Though the whole process seems to be a hard time for everyone, every group members of us are satisfied with the outcome.

Despite the sleepless nights, packed schedules, countless group discussion, numerous gatherings and assemblies, etc. all of us had put our best effort in the assignment and this will be one of the best experience and memories in our uni life.

I would like to thank all of my group members here for their hard works to make our assignment to be a success.

Firstly, Joey, our group leader, she played her role very well and being very responsible in leading all of the group members. She is good in dividing our jobs, guarding our work, making sure that everything is well-organized, choosing the best method so that our work will be more easier, etc. You have contributed a lot and thank you for your well leadership joey! :)

Next, will be Pek Yee, our secretary. She recorded every details that we discussed in our meeting, checked up if there's anything left out to be done, assisted us if we have any questions, did well in the financial planning, etc. You help us a lot and thanks for everything Pek Yee! :)

Then, our treasurer, Bee Yee, she Gave the most contribution in producing our green retro vintage lamp turns out to be well-structured and satisfactory. She handled our accounts well and planned our costs in a very budgeted way. We love the outcome of the lamp and you did a great job, thanks Bee Yee! :)

And, Gaik Poh, the researcher. She works hard on the paper work and did everything on time despite the tight schedule. Thanks for your contribution Gaik Poh! :)

Last but not least, our lecturer, Ms. Su. Miss had guided us well in our assignment and every knowledge that she bought to us is very useful and teaches us to grow and think in a more mature way. A very big thank you to you Ms. Su! :))

These are some pictures taken on the day of public presentation. Spot the smiles on the faces :)
Joey are too shy to face the camera.

Tada~ Joey and Bee Yee with Sam, the group member of Ennovation.

Through this assignment, great relationship and teamwork are build, and it brought us many ideas on how to deal with a proper business plan and public presentation, and i personally think that it would probably help us a lot in our future especially for our working life in the social world.
To conclude this post I would like to say. Ecofashionistas you are the best! :)

An unusual Sunday.

It was Sunday and our groupmates gathered at the concourse reading room for our group discussion to finalize our business plan and our product as well, and some updates to our blog.

This is the materails and tools we used for today to make up on our product.
As you can see Zip in the picture, it is used to clean the surface of the lamps so that it will look clearer and better in view.

Joey, our group leader and Pek Yee, our secretary reach there earlier and start doing their work accordingly.
Joey is working out on the product while Pek Yee is doing the minutes meeting and the financial plan as well.
Oops, mind us for the appearance of the McDs as we haven't have our brunch yet. *Grin*

While me, Wing Yi were doing some updates on our blog to let our lecturer, Ms. Su understands the whole progress of our products and updates on what we have done.
And Pek Yee, still, working hard for her part of assignment.

Then, we were trying to use the tapes effectively that are left and try to wrap the lamp with the tapes to make the appearance of the lamp looks better.
And we tried to connect our lamp to the power supply again to view the lighting effect of the lamp.

Due to the environmental issue I have mentioned earlier, we used a black box as the shelter as well as the cover so that the lightning effect of the lamp will be more apparent and obvious.
Bee Yee try to figure out the best way for our lamp product to look presentable.

The lightning effect of our lamp product under the shelter of the black box.
It looks extraordinary isn't it? :)

And yeah, this is the whole concept of our retro vintage lamp.

So how do you think of our green product?
Hope you enjoy reading our blog!
Thank you for your time :)

Adding the base to our product.

Today all of our group members gather together and went to meet Joey's uncle so that he'll teach us how to work on the base of our product to support the body of the lamp as a standing lamp. Then, we also learned how to set the light bulb on the base so that we can connect to the power supply to get the lightning of our bulb.

This is how we progress it.
So this are the tools we used for the day.

Firstly, we measure the height and width of the body of the lamp so that we can know the measurement of the base of the steel to be srt to the body of the lamp.

Then, Joey's uncle try to teach us how to set the base of steel to our product as a supporter for the body of the lamp.
.
Next, we learn how to fix the plug to the base and the light bulb as well and try to connect to the power supply to check whether the way we fix everything is working or not.

Lastly, this is the effect after we have set up everything and turn on the power supply.

It is a day of success as we manage to finalize everything for our product and it turns to be decorative and nice-looking. And a big thank you for Joey's uncle on helping us out so much on our product.
We personally think that our retro vintage lamp looks cool and we felt satisfied with the outcome of our product.
Don't you think so?
Stay tuned! :)

Progress.. Progress..

We had our group discussion again to work on our product. We put 101% in our assignment as well as our product so that we will have good compliment for our assignment and also during our presentation.

We are progressing on the body structure of our product..

Due to the environment factor of the day of the presentation, we are working on the black box to provide the most excellent effect to present our lamp product.
We are doing our presentation on the concourse area as it is an open-air and public sector, we decided to make a black box so that the interviewer can view the best presentation of our product.

Pek yee, our secretary was doing the minutes meeting and figuring out the financial planner to gain the break even of profit of our product.

We have prepare some questionares for the researches on the taste and preferences of people from the middle east country.
This is Molly and she is willing to answer our questions prepared so that we can know how they like our product and we are able to know more about people from the middle east country.

Hope that our hardwork through the whole assignment will be a success at the end of this whole progress.
